Start September at The Frisco
A New Month, A Good Reason to Visit
September marks a change of season, but there’s still plenty of summer left in Webster Groves. The days are still warm, the evenings begin to cool, and the pace of the season starts to shift. It’s a good time to meet for dinner, stay for a drink, and enjoy a little more time around the table.
Here’s what’s happening at The Frisco this month.
A Frisco Classic with a History
The Cornish pasty has been around long before takeout. Originally made for miners in Cornwall, these hearty little pies were designed to be easy to carry and filling enough to get you through a long day. That tradition lasted for a reason. Our potato and mushroom pasty puts a vegetarian spin on the tradition, with plenty of comfort packed inside.
Sometimes the best dishes are the ones with a little history behind them.
Save Room for Something Sweet
A couple seasonal favorites to make the last course the best one.
Turtle Cheesecake
Creamy vanilla cheesecake on an Oreo crust, finished with salted caramel, dark chocolate ganache, and candied pecans.
Blackberry Cobbler
Sweet-tart blackberries baked beneath a warm, cake-like topping and served fresh.
